When adding fertilizers and pH adjuster always go slow. This helps you gain an understanding over time of how much is needed so you can take some of the guesswork out of it. I like to keep a record of the water added to the reservoir, along with exactly which nutrients and how much and any pH adjuster used. This is a great kit that comes with information for the grower along with the calibration solutions and probe cleaners to get you started.
